(It's OK, Shido-san! Just do your best, we'll be right here when you get back, don't worry~!)
(Whoops! Sorry! I'll fix it!)
(EDIT: Fixed it! Sorry for not realizing, i kinda skimmed through it just to know if you were attacking because my tablet was dying Hehe, sorry. :P)
Risa felt something. Something bad, and it would come if she wasn't going to end it this turn.
"Alright! First!" She said, holding up 2 cards in hand. I call Shooting Star, Hikaru and Meteor Breaker, Lexell to the right and left!"
Throwing the 2 cards and paying 1 gauge for Hikaru, the small blue star sprite appearing at the right, giggling as she changed "I'm back~!"
At the left, a tall, muscular young man appeared wearing a silver body suit, silver gauntlets, green visors, and a mysterious green pendant, a green and purple cape on his shoulders, his silver hair blowing and messing it up more, making it even more windblown. Though he was silent, he knew he had to fight, and when his hands burst into dark, flaming energy, it announced that he meant business.
"And lastly," Risa held out her last card. "Paying one gauge, I transform!" She threw the card up and it began to glow, encasing her in a bright light, and when it faded, people on the ground gasped when she emerged as a female version of her Buddy. "Teen Hero of the Universe, Mr. Invincible!"
Vince chuckled in Risa's head. "Now, let me think, this is the first time you've transformed into me for a whole 4 months! Oh, how I miss this feeling!" He joked.
Risa sighed. "Vince, if you make this weird, I swear, I will break our contract."
The boy pouted. "You kknow you'll never be able to do that, Risa-chan~! You know you love me!"
Risa sighed, deciding to ignore Vince. "Hikaru! Attack Viking!" She called, holding her hand out.
Hikaru giggled as she leapt up and aimed her huge cannons at the red dragon. "Make a wish!" She yelled.
Vince sighed as he shared part of Risa's consciousness, smirking a little. "Yeah, she's the same old Risa." He chuckled a bit. "My same old Risa." Well not quite so yet.
As Vince got hit with the spell, he turned to Risa and winked. "Go through with it, Risa..." He said, pained as the spell destroyed him, but still, he was right. She had a plan to go through with, and for that, she needed Vince destroyed from the field at least once.
"Thanks Vince." She said as she held the card up. "I cast, Gravity Fling!"
Risa winced as she brought her own life points from 11 to 8, and her gauge going down from 5, her hand dropping to 2.
A light blue ring of energy appeared around Risa and she stood strong as Viking sailed around her, not giving her a scratch and sending him flying back to End, undoubtedly dealing him 2 damage thanks to Gravity Fling's ability. It was the only attack of the turn, and with 8 life, she ccouldnt be touched by an impact yet.
Risa nodded and, as Vince flew back into center position, she called out "Turn end!" with the voice of her core gadget.
If she were to use her trump impact, she needed both Vince and Galvanic Feather Dragon to be in the drop zone, and so long as he was still around, there was no way she was going to use it, even if it was there, waiting, and every other condition was met.
Risa nodded again to herself. She knew that End might have a guard spell, and his poker face wouldn't let her know if she was clear to attack or not, but either way, she was going to go through with it. Bringing him down to 7 wouldn't enable him to use any kind of impact he could possibly have, and she had her trumop card. She was saved for the next turn.
"Vince! Attack the fighter!"
Vince grinned and pounched his fists together. "Heck yeah!" He cried, flying at End whilst yelling "EAT FIST!"
Risa nodded to herherself aagain. With 3 in hand, there wasn't much to do. She only had a card for her next charge and draw, and 2 other cards she had to use later. So right now, attacking was the best thing to do.
"Aedi! Attack the fighter!" The white android nodded and leapt, her palm blaster set to stun and charging up for an attack.
Risa nodded. "Alright." She muttered, not heard through the mask.
She put a hand to her core and called out "Draw! Charge and Draw!" as she did the announced movements.
With a hand of 4, a gauge of 7, 11 life and 2 monsters, much could be done. First, she took a card from her hand and held it up. "I equip! Army Rifle, Line Thunder!" The card appeared in her hand and she turned to End. "I use it's ability and pay 2 gauge, sending this to the drop zone as well to destroy your Dragonblade, Dragobrave."
Risa watched as her monster was destroyed. It was a shame, as Hikaru was a big advantage, but she will help in the long run, even after falling. Besides, she had a few more copies. If they weren't in the gauge or dropzone, there was chance she could draw another before the game ended.
As Vince flew back, Risa nodded to herself. "Turn End."
(End of 2nd turn = Life: 11, Hand: 3, Gauge: 5 Monsters: Shooting Star, Hikaru (0, rest), Android Thinker, Aedi (1, rest), Teen Hero of the Universe, Mr. Invincible (2, rest), Set: Solar Powered, Item: NA)
Risa nodded to herself. She had to admit, this guy threw her off a little, but she still had to fight.
"Ok, if he has 2 cards in his hand, I'll have to assume just in case that one is a shield, so, I think the best to attack all out. This iisn't Battle Spirits, Duel Masters or Duel Monsters, after all, you don't need standing monsters to block." Risa couldnt help but think oof the other card games Vince dragged her into in this situation, stats and plans floating around in her wirring head.
She had an extra card thanks to Hikaru's ability, since she destroyed Bladewing once, and her wish had been granted for the next turn.
"Vince, attack the fighter!"
The hero grinned. "Oh yeah!" He called, soaring at End with an outstretched fist. "Get ready to feel it, stone-face!"
(Turn 2 of game = Life: 11, Hand: 3, Gauge: 5 Monsters: Shooting Star, Hikaru (0, rest), Android Thinker, Aedi (1, rest), Teen Hero of the Universe, Mr. Invincible (2, attacking), Set: Solar Powered, Item: NA)
Risa nodded. "So you're paying defense, now, eh?" She whispered to herself. "Vince."
The boy put his hand to the comlink. "Yeah, Risa?" Risa looked at End. "This guy might be trouble, so watch out."
Vince nodded. "Aye aye, Risa!"
Risa turned to End. "Aedi, attack the center." She knew it was futile, burn why not?
The white android leapt in the air and faces her palm blaster at the dragon, charging up for an attack.
(I'll be out for a few days after tomorrow, so yeah, if anyone replies, sorry I'll be making you wait.)
Risa put her hand over her heart. "Draw! Charge and draw!" She looked it over. It seemed pretty good.
"First, I cast Hyper Energy! Increasing my gauge by 4!"
She picked up another card. "Then, I cast set spell Solar Powered, allowing me to add an extra one to my gauge every turn."
She picked up 3 more cards. "And now, I call to the right, Android Thinker, Aedi." She threw the first card. "To the left, I call Shooting Star, Hikaru!" She threw the next card. "And to the center, I Buddy Call Teen Hero of the Universe, Mr. Invincible!"
The boy next to her grinned and whooped. "Awe yeah, let's get this party started!" He leapt in the air and began to glow. "I'll save the universe and be back in time for school!" The glow burst and revealed Vince in his true form, his blue bodysuit with red highlights and his red cape and boots: Teen Hero of the Universe, Mr. Invincible!"
She payed 3 gauge and the top card of her deck as a whole, but she was unphased. She was still safe with 11 life points.
"Now, Hikaru, take out Blade Wing!" The small sprite leapt forward, fizzling as she aimed her large blaster at him. "Make a wish, dragon!"
(Turn 2 of game = Life: 11, Hand: 2, Gauge: 5 Monsters: Shooting Star, Hikaru (0), Android Thinker, Aedi (1), Teen Hero of the Universe, Mr. Invincible (2), Set: Solar Powered, Item: NA)
(Whoops! Sorry!)
Risa held up a hand. "I cast, I've Seen Through Your Moves!" She was safe, for now
(Wah...? Sorry, don't get it....)
(K)
Risa and Vince noticed the even more drastic change of personal aura coming from the guy. Vince was beginning to regret his decision of fighting this guy.
"What's this guy up to?" Risa thought, frowning her brow behind her helmet.
Risa nodded. "Alright."
She didn't like the air this guy all too well. His aura, the way he had a souless look in his eyes. Even that Buddy Skill got to her.
She stole a split second glance at Vince, who was grinning at the dragon, yelling "prepare to eat Mt fist!" If anything went wrong, she just hoped Vince wouldn't be dragged into this. His life was full of tiring things such as saving the universe already. His downtime shouldn't be like that, either.
"Time to raise the flag!" Risa called once her eyes turned back to End. "I fight for Hero World!"
In a flash, the flag appeared behind her, more of an emblem, really, and stood out against the sky.
Down bellow, people were already looking up at the 2 fighters. "Hey! Look! 2 people are gonna fight!" "Yeah! And by the looks of it, it's Dragon vs Hero! Sweet!" "Hey, let's watch and see what happens!"
Risa sighed. Great. Now there were even more eyes on them. Even this high up.
Risa nodded, putting a hand over her heart, and effectively, her core. "Calling from the deepest reaches of space, past infinite lightyears and beyond all bounderies of knowledge! Luminize! Gathering of Galaxies!" She called, drawing her starting hand.
"Awe yeah! Let's get this party started!" Vince cried, sending out a ripple of energy that tore his clothes and revealed his superhero uniform beneath, putting his goggles over his eyes. "Teen Hero of the Universe, Mr. Invincible is on the scene!" He cried, punchin his knuckles. He was sure pumped.
Vince grinned. "Cool!"
He turned to Risa. "Risa?" The girl sighed. "Fine~!"
Risa took her silver deck case out, and in a flash of light, if became a silver upper-torso space armor, complete with shoulder pads, her core over her heart, and from the shoulderpads came a red cape of energy that allowed her to levitate beside her buddy.
Vince grinned and held a set of backwards-pointing ear covers. "Come on, you promised you'd wear 'em."
Risa sighed, taking the headphones. "Fine." When she put them on, they recognzed her bio-scans and began to morph into a silver helmet that covered most of her head, a one-sided lense visor falling over her face so that he poker face would always remain, not that it didn't naturally.
She hovered in the air and stood with Vince. "So, are you coming up to join me, or are we going to be ordinary, boring people or fight on the ground?"
She didn't like fighting where other people could recognize her, even with the helmet, she knew someone would know her somewhere, and either way, it would be better to fight where the stage was unlimited. The sky is the limit, after all.
A girl and a boy walked through the fair, minding their own business. It was a pretty good day out, so they figured they'd come.
"So, Risa, what do you wanna do?" The boy, who's tousled brown hair was peeking out from under his red and blue superhero cap and goggles by a bit, asked the girl, looking at her with his deep blue eyes.
The girl, who bore peachy skin and jet black hair that curled behind her in one large swoop to the left, and then to the right like a scythe or locks, shrugged, walking with her own violet eyes closed. "I don't know, Vince." She muttered. "You can lead if you want."
The boy bit his lip. "If I were to lead, where would we go...?" He muttered, putting a hand on his chin and looking up at the sky. "Hey, maybe we can find a decent fight!" He said, excited as he levitated off the ground, did a flip in front of the girl and hovered to her other side, following her slowly. "Waddaya say, Buddy Fighter?"
Risa sighed. "I don't know. Maybe if we find someone good."
Vince smiled and looked around, a hand over his eyes so the sun didn't blind him if he looked the wrong way. His eyes fell on a boy with a black hoodie, walking down the road. "How about him?" He pointed out the boy.
Risa looked at him, and in her mind, analyzed him. "Maybe, if he's even a fi-" But Vince cut her off by grabbing her hand and pulling her over, saying "great! Let's go!'
As they approached, Vince gave the boy a grin. "Hey, my buddy and I were wondering if you played Buddyfight, and if you did, of you wanted to go a round with us on the park stage?" He pointed at the stage a little past the stalls in the park across the street.
Risa sighed. She liked Vince and all, but she just wished that, sometimes, he'd be a little less excited. She expected a superhero to be more mature, even at 15 years. But then again, if Vine wasn't casual and energetic around her, it wouldn't be Vince.
(Whew! Finally made it! :D)
